Short on time? Here's the essentials:

In Bon Temps, vampires and humans coexist uneasily. Sookie Stackhouse, a telepathic waitress, navigates this world, often caught between her supernatural friends and human dangers. This season, a deadly virus called Hep-V decimates vampire populations, leading to widespread panic and violence.

The core conflict revolves around finding a cure for Hep-V. This quest is complicated by the emergence of aggressive, infected vampires and the revelation that Eric Northman is infected. Key turning points include the deaths of Alcide Herveaux and Tara Thornton, and the shocking discovery that Bill Compton has contracted Hep-V. The search for Sarah Newlin, who holds the cure, drives much of the action.

The season concludes with Bill Compton choosing true death over a cure, and Sookie fulfilling his wish by staking him. Eric and Pam take over a vampire business, and a flash-forward reveals Sookie pregnant and happy with a new partner.

Season 7 of True Blood covers episodes 1-10. Here's everything that happened:

Season 7, Episode 2: I Found You - Sookie, Jason, Alcide, Sam, and Andy investigate a Hep-V ravaged town. The episode concludes with Sookie seeking reassurance from Bill.

Season 7, Episode 3: Fire in the Hole - Sookie plans to lure the H-Vamps, while vigilantes pose a threat. Matt, Sam's vampire companion, is killed by the mob. Flashbacks reveal Eric choosing Pam over Sylvie. Ultimately, Alcide is shot and killed saving Sookie from H-Vamps.

Season 7, Episode 8: Almost Home - Eric is cured of Hep-V by drinking Sarah Newlin's blood, while Violet seeks revenge on those who wronged her.
