Lafayette is exploring witchcraft, and Tara has fled to New Orleans. Jason is then locked in a freezer by the werepanthers. The episode concludes with Eric revealing he bought Sookie's house, declaring, "You are mine".
Season 4, Episode 2: You Smell Like Dinner - Eric confronts Marnie's coven, but Marnie casts a spell that wipes Eric's memory. Jason is held captive by the werepanthers of Hotshot, facing a grim fate. Sookie seeks help from Bill, now King of Louisiana, against Eric. The episode concludes with Sookie encountering a disoriented, amnesiac Eric on the road.
Season 4, Episode 3: If You Love Me, Why Am I Dyin'? - Sookie hides amnesiac Eric from the witches, enlisting Alcide's help. Jason is held captive, becoming a werepanther breeder.
