Season 5, Episode 1: At What Price - Peter Burke faces murder charges, leading Neal to strike a deal with Curtis Hagen. Season 5, Episode 2: Out of the Frying Pan - Neal's new handler investigates an online black market, leading to Mozzie, whose real name, Teddy Winters, is revealed as Neal helps him fake his death. Neal also destroys evidence against Curtis Hagen. The episode concludes with Mozzie unexpectedly helping Diana deliver her baby, whom she names Theo, an irreversible outcome forging an unexpected connection.

Season 5, Episode 5: Master Plan - Neal goes undercover as a butler to expose an imposter claiming to be the long-lost heir, Patrick Wolcott, of a wealthy family. Elizabeth's suspicions lead the team to discover the imposter uses a device to fake DNA. Peter, despite being ill, helps expose the fraud. They successfully rescue the real Patrick Wolcott, reuniting him with his family, and the imposter is apprehended.
Season 5, Episode 6: Ice Breaker - Peter and Neal infiltrate a Russian counterfeit passport ring in Little Odessa, with Peter posing as a figure skating coach and Neal as a sports agent. They recruit skater Katya to help trap the ringleader, Sergei, at his engagement party. Meanwhile, Neal secretly enlists Rebecca to help decipher the Moscone Codex, renewing Peter's suspicions about Neal's clandestine activities. The FBI busts the ring after Katya stabs Sergei to escape his knife attack.
Season 5, Episode 7: Quantico Closure - Peter teams with his ex-girlfriend, Jill, on a classified espionage case, sparking Elizabeth's suspicion. While Neal and Elizabeth covertly observe them, Neal also continues deciphering the Codex with Rebecca. The case escalates when mercenaries capture Peter and Jill, but Elizabeth's quick thinking helps free Peter and Jill. Season 5, Episode 10: Live Feed - Neal and Mozzie work to decipher the Mosconi Codex for Hagen, who holds Rebecca captive.
