Season 4 of White Collar covers episodes 1-16. Here's everything that happened:

Season 4, Episode 1: Wanted - Neal and Mozzie are hiding in Cape Verde, but Agent Collins relentlessly hunts Neal. Peter races to find Neal first, as Collins places a bounty on Neal's head. Local crime boss Dobbs betrays Neal to Collins. Peter arrives, but the episode concludes with Collins holding Neal at gunpoint, leaving Neal's immediate future precarious.


Season 4, Episode 2: Most Wanted - Peter and Mozzie devise a plan to rescue Neal from bounty hunter Kyle Collins on Cape Verde. They discover their captor, Henry Dobbs, is actually Robert McLeish, one of the FBI's most wanted criminals. They orchestrate a complex con to expose McLeish, leading to Collins inadvertently capturing the FBI's Most Wanted. Peter then negotiates Neal's return to the FBI in exchange for McLeish, securing Neal's freedom and reinstatement.


Season 4, Episode 3: Diminishing Returns - Peter is demoted to the evidence warehouse after his unauthorized trip to find Neal. Neal, feeling responsible, helps Peter surreptitiously investigate David Cook, a master thief Peter has pursued for years. They successfully catch Cook. Neal also learns the truth about his father's past, discovering he was accused of murdering a fellow officer and confessed, leading to Neal's childhood in Witness Protection. Neal ends the episode determined to uncover the full truth about his father.


Season 4, Episode 4: Parting Shots - Neal and Peter investigate a wealthy widow, Sophie Covington, suspected of insurance fraud after her husband's suspicious death. Neal goes undercover, romancing Sophie to uncover the truth, only to discover she is being targeted by her late husband's business partner, Wilson Mailor. Meanwhile, Neal's search for answers about his father takes a tragic turn when Ellen Parker is gunned down while in Witness Protection. Peter is reinstated to the White Collar division, and they successfully apprehend Mailor.


Season 4, Episode 5: Honor Among Thieves - Grieving Ellen, Neal is blackmailed by art thief Abigail to steal a Pascal sculpture for information on Ellen's killer. Neal, with Mozzie's aid, executes the heist under Peter's watch. Abigail is arrested, and Peter, despite Neal's deception, gives Neal Ellen's case report, but secretly keeps a duplicate, revealing their complex, evolving trust.


Season 4, Episode 6: Identity Crisis - Mozzie's storage unit find thrusts him, Neal, and Peter into a hunt for George Washington's lost flag, pursued by a killer. Mozzie allies with a modern-day Culper spy, Tempest, and helps the killer escape to locate the flag. The FBI finds the site empty. **Tempest is later seen unfur


Season 4, Episode 7: Compromising Positions - Peter and Neal confront a political fixer, Landon Shepard, who is blackmailing an ADA to sabotage a trial. They devise a counter-con, with Peter and Sara feigning an affair to expose Shepard's tactics. Delancy is ultimately convicted. Meanwhile, Neal secretly allies with Sam to investigate Ellen's death, unaware that Peter is covertly observing and documenting their meeting, further eroding his trust in Neal.


Season 4, Episode 8: Ancient History - Neal's former associate, Alex Hunter, returns, involved in museum heists targeting ancient Greek artifacts. Neal works with the FBI to catch the mastermind, a Greek official, but Alex cons Neal to ensure the artifacts are recovered and the official is caught. She later tells Neal they are "even" for a past treasure. The episode concludes with Neal, Peter, and Mozzie finally watching Ellen's mysterious tape.


Season 4, Episode 9: Gloves Off - Neal goes undercover as a Wall Street trader, uncovering a boxing ring where insider information is traded. Peter and Neal must fight in the ring to expose the corrupt CEO. Ellen's video reveals Neal's father cooperated with prosecutors, leading to his family entering Witness Protection. Peter's investigation into Sam causes him to disappear, straining Peter and Neal's partnership significantly as Neal blames Peter for Sam going into hiding.


Season 4, Episode 10: Vested Interest - At an FBI conference, Peter and Neal foil a plot to kidnap a tech developer. Neal is shot but saved by a bulletproof vest. Peter discovers the real Sam is dead. The episode concludes with Peter revealing that the man Neal knows as "Sam" is actually Neal's father, a pivotal, life-altering truth.


Season 4, Episode 11: Family Business - Neal and Peter investigate Neal's father's past, uncovering his forced ties to the Flynn crime family and the truth of his disappearance. Neal infiltrates a counterfeit whiskey operation to apprehend Dennis Flynn Jr., Ellen's killer. The episode concludes with Flynn Jr. being killed, leaving Neal's father's complex history unresolved.


Season 4, Episode 12: Brass Tacks - Peter and Neal investigate Senator Pratt's corruption. After Peter's car is sabotaged, Elizabeth asks Neal to lie about a key Ellen left him. Edwards is caught but won't implicate Pratt, who then forces Peter's boss, Hughes, into early retirement. Peter learns of Neal's deception, causing a significant rift in their trust as he continues the investigation alone.


Season 4, Episode 13: Empire City - Peter and Neal investigate a taxi medallion forgery and money laundering scheme at a jazz club, uncovered by Mozzie. They use June and a melting medallion to expose the criminals. Concurrently, Neal and Mozzie realize Ellen's mysterious key points to the Empire State Building. Peter independently deciphers the same clue, leading to a shared epiphany.


Season 4, Episode 14: Shoot the Moon - Peter and Elizabeth are kidnapped by Oz and Penny, a "Bonnie and Clyde" couple on a romantic crime spree. Neal and Sara track them as they plan to steal a moon rock. Elizabeth cleverly aids Peter, and Neal secures the rock. Peter convinces Oz to surrender, leading to Oz and Penny's apprehension. The episode concludes with Sara confirming her move to London.


Season 4, Episode 15: The Original - Peter and Neal investigate a high-stakes sculpture forgery, where Neal creates his own "Dubois" to expose the original artist. Meanwhile, Neal, Mozzie, and Neal's father, James, use an FBI operation as cover to search the Empire State Building for Ellen's evidence box. They successfully locate the box's hidden compartment, but Neal realizes new bureau chief Amanda Callaway is secretly working with Senator Pratt, an irreversible outcome that jeopardizes their efforts to retrieve the evidence.


Season 4, Episode 16: In the Wind - Neal and Peter race for an Empire State Building evidence box. During a confrontation, Neal's father, James, shoots Senator Pratt. Peter is framed for the murder as James flees. The evidence reveals James is guilty of killing his former supervisor, leading to Peter's arrest and Neal's devastation.
