Short on time? Here's the essentials:

The Peaky Blinders, led by the ambitious Tommy Shelby, aim to expand their criminal empire from Birmingham to London. Tommy seeks power and control, while his family, including his brother Arthur, supports his dangerous ventures.

The season's core conflict involves Tommy's struggle against rival gangster Darby Sabini and the manipulative Major Campbell. Tommy faces brutal attacks, including having his mouth cut and a gold tooth pulled. He is forced to become an informant for Campbell, leading to betrayals and devastating losses. Key turning points include the murder of a young recruit in prison, Arthur's brutal takeover of Sabini's club, and Billy Kitchen's death after Alfie Solomons' double-cross.

The season ends with the Peaky Blinders seizing control of London's criminal underworld. Major Campbell is fatally shot, and Tommy, despite being abducted, is spared. Grace, Tommy's former love, reveals she is pregnant with his child.

Season 2 of Peaky Blinders covers episodes 1-6. Here's everything that happened:

Season 2, Episode 1: Episode 1 - Two years later, the Peaky Blinders attend Freddie Thorne's funeral, while their Garrison pub is bombed. Tommy plans a dangerous expansion into London, leading him to assassinate an Irish dissident under IRA blackmail. He is then brutally attacked by Darby Sabini's men, who cut his mouth and pull out a gold tooth. Major Campbell dramatically intervenes, saving Tommy, revealing his survival and renewed control over the Shelby leader.

Season 2, Episode 2: Episode 2 - Recovering from Sabini's attack, Tommy is pressured by Major Campbell to become an informant. He travels to London, forging a volatile alliance with Jewish gang leader Alfie Solomons against Sabini. Meanwhile, Arthur accidentally kills a boxing opponent due to his worsening PTSD and drug use. Tommy also locates Aunt Polly's long-lost son, Michael, setting the stage for a reunion. The episode concludes with Tommy burning an unopened letter from Grace, unable to confront their past.

Season 2, Episode 3: Episode 3 - Tommy expands into London, aligning with Alfie Solomons and meeting May Carleton. Polly struggles with Michael's attraction to the gang. Sabini's men brutally murder Harold Hancox in prison as a warning to Tommy. The episode concludes with a violent assassination attempt on Tommy, brutally thwarted by Arthur, revealing his volatile state.

Season 2, Episode 4: Episode 4 - Tommy attends a funeral and is tasked by Campbell with an assassination. Arthur leads a brutal takeover of Sabini's Eden Club, escalating gang warfare. Michael joins the Shelby Company, while Tommy puts his affairs in order. The episode concludes with the return of Grace, now married, as Tommy silently calls her husband.

Season 2, Episode 5: Episode 5 - Alfie Solomons double-crosses Arthur, leading to Billy Kitchen's death and Arthur's arrest. Major Campbell orchestrates Michael's arrest, forcing Polly to sacrifice herself by having sex with Campbell for her son's freedom. Tommy's London empire crumbles, leaving him in a precarious position as he navigates betrayal and devastating personal sacrifices.

Season 2, Episode 6: Episode 6 - Tommy orchestrates a complex plan at the Epsom Derby, culminating in the assassination of Field Marshal Russell and the Peaky Blinders seizing control of Sabini's operations. Polly confronts and fatally shoots Major Chester Campbell. Tommy is abducted, seemingly for execution, but is unexpectedly spared by a higher power, revealing his continued importance to unseen forces. Grace also reveals her pregnancy to Tommy.
