Short on time? Here's the essentials:

In "Justified" Season 4, U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens, a man who wants to do right but often finds himself in trouble, investigates a mysterious bag found in his estranged father Arlo's house. This leads him to uncover the identity of Drew Thompson, a man Arlo is hiding. Meanwhile, Boyd Crowder, a former friend of Raylan's now running a drug empire, faces threats to his business from a charismatic preacher and a dangerous new player in the criminal underworld.

The season's central conflict revolves around Raylan and Boyd both hunting for Drew Thompson, who is revealed to be Shelby Parlow, a seemingly ordinary constable. Their pursuit is complicated by a dangerous Detroit mob, corrupt officials, and betrayals within their own circles. Key turning points include Arlo's shocking murder in prison and the reveal that Shelby Parlow is Drew Thompson.

The season concludes with Raylan securing Drew Thompson for witness protection, but not before Colt is killed in a violent confrontation. Boyd, devastated by recent events and facing the wrath of a powerful crime boss, is left to rebuild his criminal enterprise in Harlan.
