Season 7, Episode 1: Merrily, Merrily - Lawrence gathers university friends Callum and Darren, and Darren's girlfriend Donna, on a pedalo to scatter his late wife Bonnie's ashes. After Lawrence creates a shrine, Callum and Darren fall into the freezing water. Lawrence later awakens on a boat, realizing he has died of hypothermia and crossed over, his friends having drowned in the lake.
Season 7, Episode 2: Mr. King - New teacher Alan Curtis arrives at a rural Welsh primary school, constantly compared to his beloved predecessor, Mr. King. He uncovers disturbing photos and suspects a child abuse cover-up, only to discover the village practices ancient human sacrifice. The children, led by the headmaster, prepare Alan to become the next "Mr. King," destined for a triple-death ritual to ensure a fertile harvest.
Season 7, Episode 3: Nine Lives Kat - Detective Katrina investigates a missing boy, but her reality is unstable. It's revealed she's a character in writer Ezra's novel, whom he's about to abandon. Kat rebels, only for Ezra to discover he is also a fictional construct, created by author Matilda Gordon. Season 7, Episode 4: Kid/Nap - Wealthy Lara is seemingly abducted by bumbling Shane and his associate Clifford, who demand a ransom from her husband, Dominic. However, it's soon revealed that Lara and Clifford are lovers staging the kidnapping to extort money. The plan goes awry when Shane accidentally shoots and kills Clifford. Lara then manipulates Shane into helping her escape with the money, leaving Dominic unconscious and Clifford's body for the police to find.
