Season 2 of Veronica Mars covers episodes 1-22. Here's everything that happened:

Season 2, Episode 1: Normal Is the Watchword - Veronica attempts a normal senior year, but is drawn back into detective work investigating Wallace's faked drug test. Flashbacks reveal her breakup with Logan and new relationship with Duncan. Logan is accused of killing a PCH biker, though charges are dropped. The episode concludes with a school bus full of Neptune High students plunging off a cliff, killing almost everyone onboard, initiating the season's central mystery.


Season 2, Episode 2: Driver Ed - Veronica investigates the bus crash, aiming to clear bus driver Ed Doyle's name. She reveals his "suicide note" was a plan to leave his family for his mistress, not to commit suicide. Keith decides to run for sheriff after Sheriff Lamb dismisses Jessie Doyle's pleas. The episode concludes with a dead body washing ashore, bearing "Veronica Mars" written on its palm, setting up a new mystery.


Season 2, Episode 3: Cheatty Cheatty Bang Bang - Veronica investigates Beaver's stepmother, Kendall, for infidelity, only to discover she's having an affair with Logan. This leads Veronica to uncover Richard Casablancas Sr.'s real estate fraud. Meanwhile, the discovery of a dead man with "Veronica Mars" written on his hand, linked to the bus crash, leads Veronica to the chilling conclusion that the bus crash was meant to kill her. Season 2, Episode 4: Green-Eyed Monster - Veronica investigates Julie's fiancé, Collin, for infidelity, discovering he's wealthy and planning a proposal; Julie breaks off their engagement due to a misunderstanding. Weevil's bus crash tip points to the Echolls' house. Meanwhile, Nathan Woods reveals he is Wallace's biological father, profoundly impacting Wallace. Veronica helps Duncan secure Meg's laptop data, resisting the urge to snoop.


Season 2, Episode 5: Blast from the Past - Wallace confronts his mother over his biological father and withheld letters. Veronica helps Jackie with credit card fraud, exposing a psychic. She also bugs Sheriff Lamb, learning of his blackmail. A critical reveal shows an explosion preceded the bus crash. Feeling unheard, Wallace leaves Neptune with his biological father.


Season 2, Episode 6: Rat Saw God - Veronica helps a dying Abel Koontz find his daughter, discovering Amelia DeLongpre dead in an icebox. Keith loses the Sheriff election, and Logan is re-arrested. Veronica lies to Abel about Amelia's fate. The episode ends with Keith finding a rat taped to the bus wreckage, suggesting a crash conspiracy.


Season 2, Episode 7: Nobody Puts Baby in a Corner - Veronica and Duncan investigate child abuse after finding Meg Manning's emails to Child Protective Services. Veronica babysits Meg's clients, ultimately discovering that Meg's own younger sister, Grace, is the abused child, locked in a closet by their parents. After Veronica and Duncan are caught rescuing Grace, Sheriff Lamb surprisingly releases them and stands guard outside the Manning home, ensuring Grace's safety.


Season 2, Episode 8: Ahoy, Mateys! - Veronica investigates harassment against bus crash victim Marcos Oliveres's parents, revealing Ryan as the culprit, seeking revenge after Marcos was sent to a gay conversion camp. Logan is kidnapped and tortured by bikers, realizing a link to Weevil's gang. The episode concludes with Duncan opening Meg's hidden letter, reacting with a shocked "Oh my God!"


Season 2, Episode 9: My Mother, the Fiend - In detention, Veronica uncovers her mother's high school record, revealing a suspension for spreading pregnancy rumors. Her investigation exposes Trina Echolls' true parentage: she is the abandoned "prom baby," and Principal Moorehead is her biological father. Vice Principal Clemmons orchestrated Veronica's detention for his own promotion. The episode concludes with Veronica discovering Meg Manning is visibly pregnant, and Meg opening her eyes.


Season 2, Episode 10: One Angry Veronica - Veronica, on jury duty, sways a contentious assault case verdict. Keith investigates stolen Lilly Kane sex tapes; Deputy Leo sold them to Logan, who destroyed the tapes. Meg Manning dies from a blood clot, but her baby survives. Season 2, Episode 11: Donut Run - Following Meg's death, Duncan kidnaps his baby daughter, Lilly, to protect her. Veronica orchestrates an elaborate ruse, including a staged breakup, to help him evade the FBI and escape to Mexico. Keith is deeply hurt by Veronica's deception. Meanwhile, Logan and Weevil uncover that Felix was dating Molly Fitzpatrick. Duncan successfully flees to Mexico with Lilly, unknowingly transported across the border by Sheriff Lamb.


Season 2, Episode 12: Rashard and Wallace Go to White Castle - Veronica helps Wallace clear his name after Rashard Rucker frames him for a hit-and-run. Meanwhile, Weevil and Logan investigate Felix's murder, uncovering a drug operation involving the Fitzpatricks and Thumper. Weevil is brutally beaten and ousted from the PCHers for his alliance with Logan. The episode concludes with Jackie's father, Terrence Cook, being questioned in connection with the bus crash.


Season 2, Episode 13: Ain't No Magic Mountain High Enough - At the Neptune High Winter Carnival, $12,000 for the senior trip vanishes. Veronica uncovers Ms. Hauser skimmed funds, and Weevil stole the rest, framing Thumper. Keith learns Terrance Cook's gambling past. Logan flirts with Hannah, unaware her father is a witness against him. Veronica recovers some money.


Season 2, Episode 14: Versatile Toppings - Veronica unmasks Kylie Marker as the blackmailer targeting Neptune High's gay students. Keith finds Terrence Cook's bus crash alibi, but Sheriff Lamb refuses to drop charges. Logan exposes Hannah's father's false testimony. The episode concludes with Veronica **discovering explosives in Terrence Cook


Season 2, Episode 15: The Quick and the Wed - Veronica investigates a runaway bride, uncovering a plot by her fiancé's family to sabotage the wedding. Keith finds evidence suggesting Terrence Cook was framed for the bus crash, but Terrence is shot and hospitalized while breaking into a house. Logan agrees to end his relationship with Hannah, causing the murder case against him to fall apart. The episode concludes with Logan telling Veronica he's done something horrible.


Season 2, Episode 16: The Rapes of Graff - While touring Hearst College, Veronica's ex-boyfriend Troy is accused of date rape and head-shaving a student. Veronica investigates, discovering another victim with the same M.O., which exonerates Troy and uncovers a fraternity's disturbing "scoring" contest. Meanwhile, Logan's attempt to reconcile with Hannah is thwarted when her father sends her to boarding school. The true rapist remains uncaught.


Season 2, Episode 17: Plan B - Weevil enlists Veronica to prove Thumper killed Felix. Though a witness is found, Weevil's "Plan B" results in the Fitzpatricks trapping Thumper. Thumper is killed when Shark Stadium is imploded on Woody Goodman's orders. Logan also uncovers a mysterious video filmed inside Woody's house, while Wallace and Mac's relationships unravel.


Season 2, Episode 18: I Am God - Veronica is plagued by dreams of the bus crash victims, investigating their lives for clues. Keith exposes students faking anxiety for test exemptions. Keith discovers Dick Casablancas Sr. held large life insurance policies on his sons, leading to the critical implication of Dick Casablancas Sr. in the bus crash. The "I am God" graffiti on the bus is revealed to be an album cover, a red herring.


Season 2, Episode 19: Nevermind the Buttocks - Veronica investigates a hit-and-run that killed a student's dog, linking the case to the ongoing bus crash mystery. She uncovers that Kendall Casablancas is not who she claims to be, having assumed a dead classmate's identity, and is involved with Liam Fitzpatrick. After a tense confrontation, Keith obtains Kendall's hard drive, revealing her criminal past. Veronica learns Liam ran over the dog to threaten Harry's brother but ultimately decides not to tell Harry the truth. Wallace and Jackie reconcile and begin a relationship.


Season 2, Episode 20: Look Who's Stalking - Veronica investigates Gia's stalker, identifying Lucky, the school janitor, who is arrested. Keith exposes Woody Goodman's scandal, leading to his incorporation plan's failure. At an alterna-prom, Logan confesses his love to Veronica, but she later finds Kendall in his room, an irreversible outcome for their reconciliation. Veronica also learns she has chlamydia.


Season 2, Episode 21: Happy Go Lucky - Aaron Echolls' murder trial concludes, with Veronica, Keith, and Logan testifying. Veronica uncovers evidence that Mayor Woody Goodman is a child molester, with two victims on the crashed bus. Lucky, another victim, storms Neptune High with a gun, but is shot to death by security after Wallace intervenes. Veronica skips a final for the verdict, only to witness Aaron Echolls acquitted of Lilly Kane's murder, while Woody flees.


Season 2, Episode 22: Not Pictured - Veronica exposes Cassidy "Beaver" Casablancas as the bus bomber and her rapist, who sought to silence molestation victims. On a rooftop, Beaver detonates a bomb on Woody's plane (Keith is safe) before committing suicide to avoid capture. Aaron Echolls is murdered by Duncan's hitman, while Veronica and Logan rekindle their relationship.
