Short on time? Here's the essentials:

Team Scorpion, a brilliant but unconventional group of geniuses, tackles global threats. Led by the logical but socially awkward Walter O'Brien, the team includes the resourceful Paige Dineen, the resourceful Happy Quinn, the empathetic Toby Curtis, and the meticulous Sylvester Dodd. Their mission is to protect the world from complex and dangerous situations using their unique skills.

The season sees Team Scorpion facing numerous high-stakes challenges, from preventing global extinction events caused by methane gas leaks to averting nuclear explosions and stopping terrorist attacks. A recurring threat emerges from their nemesis, Mark Collins, who manipulates situations and frames Cabe Gallo, a key member of the team. The team also navigates personal struggles, including Toby's fertility issues and Cabe's past trauma. A significant turning point occurs when Walter suffers a life-threatening fall, leading him to re-evaluate the importance of his team.

The season culminates in a devastating betrayal. Walter's deception about his interactions with Florence, a new team member, is revealed to Paige. This leads to Paige breaking up with Walter and quitting Scorpion, taking Toby and Happy with her. In the aftermath, Walter forms a new Scorpion team with Cabe and Florence, while Paige, Toby, and Happy establish their own rival group, setting the stage for future conflict.

Season 4 of Scorpion covers episodes 1-22. Here's everything that happened:

Season 4, Episode 1: Extinction - Team Scorpion must reluctantly team up with their nemesis Mark Collins to prevent a methane gas leak in the Arctic from causing a global extinction event. Collins narrowly escapes death when a flaming truck nearly hits him, and the team successfully seals the fissures. However, Walter and Paige's new relationship faces immediate strain due to their differing approaches to the crisis.

Season 4, Episode 2: More Extinction - Team Scorpion, aided by nemesis Mark Collins, races against time to prevent a global extinction event by creating artificial snow to seal methane fissures. Collins escapes during the mission, leading to Cabe Gallo being arrested for instigating his escape, though the extinction is averted.

Season 4, Episode 3: Grow a Deer, a Female Deer - Team Scorpion travels to Africa to stop poachers. They find a pregnant endangered deer shot by poachers and work to save both the mother and her fawn by creating an artificial womb. The poachers are apprehended thanks to Ralph's decryption of their phone data, and the deer and her baby are successfully saved.

Season 4, Episode 4: Nuke Kids on the Block - While decommissioning a nuclear missile, Team Scorpion is exposed to toxic vapor. A dropped wrench causes a rocket fuel leak, forcing them to detonate the warhead to prevent a catastrophic explosion. Walter is injured but rescued by Paige and Happy. Meanwhile, Sly decides to become Cabe's lawyer, and Happy reveals to Toby she wants to start a family.

Season 4, Episode 5: Sci Hard - Team Scorpion attends a tech convention only to be taken hostage by a group attempting a virtual heist. Cabe Gallo, separated from the main group, becomes an unlikely one-man army to thwart the attackers. The team successfully fakes the virtual heist, leading to the captors' apprehension and the hostages' safe release.

Season 4, Episode 6: Queen Scary - Team Scorpion investigates paranormal activity on the Queen Mary, only to discover a real disaster: a ghost ship on a collision course. They race against time to divert a natural gas tanker heading for a refinery. The episode concludes with the team successfully averting the catastrophic explosion and Walter realizing the importance of Paige's interests.

Season 4, Episode 7: Go With the Flo(rence) - Team Scorpion is tasked by MI6 to stop a hacked British spy satellite from being used in a terrorist attack. They are aided by a new, abrasive neighbor, Florence, a chemist. The team successfully thwarts the attack, but MI6 agent Jemma Franklin's true intention was to steal the satellite, not secure it. The episode concludes with the team saving the day and Walter learning a lesson about listening to Paige.

Season 4, Episode 8: Faire Is Foul - Team Scorpion attends a Renaissance Faire for Sylvester's birthday, but their celebration is interrupted by a group attempting to rob a police evidence locker. Walter's historical nitpicking annoys Paige, while the team must overcome a generator failure and an injured officer. The episode concludes with the team successfully thwarting the robbery and protecting the evidence, allowing Sylvester to enjoy his birthday.

Season 4, Episode 9: It's Raining Men (of War) - Team Scorpion attempts to destroy a floating garbage patch, but a miscalculation by their new neighbor, Florence, leaves Walter and Happy stranded on the dissolving island. Meanwhile, Toby helps Cabe recover repressed memories of his father's murder, revealing Cabe witnessed the event as a child. Florence is stung by jellyfish but saved, and the team successfully disposes of the garbage.

Season 4, Episode 10: Crime Every Mountain - Team Scorpion attempts to help a father and daughter after their plane crashes, while simultaneously dealing with the stress of Cabe's impending trial. The father's story about his son unravels, revealing he's involved in a drug smuggling operation. Collins frames Cabe for accepting a bribe, leading Sly to advocate for a bench trial. The episode concludes with the team outsmarting the drug smugglers, and Cabe deciding to pursue a bench trial to clear his name.

Season 4, Episode 11: Who Let the Dog Out ('Cause Now It's Stuck in a Cistern) - While anxiously awaiting the verdict of Cabe's trial, Team Scorpion diverts their nervous energy to rescue a diabetic dog trapped in a cistern. They devise a risky plan involving drowning the dog to save it, which ultimately succeeds. Sylvester secures Cabe's freedom by presenting a crucial old maritime case, and the team celebrates their dual victories.

Season 4, Episode 12: A Christmas Car-Roll - On Christmas Eve, Walter, prioritizing work, suffers a life-threatening fall down the stairs. While unconscious, he experiences a dream where Team Scorpion never existed, and his teammates lead vastly different, albeit successful, lives. The team works to save him in reality, and Walter ultimately realizes the profound importance of their bond.

Season 4, Episode 13: The Bunker Games - Team Scorpion is trapped in a doomsday bunker controlled by an AI named Dorie. They must cooperate with Toby's nemesis, Quincy, and his ex-fiancée, Amy. The AI identifies Toby as a threat, leading to a dangerous game of survival. Ultimately, Toby is parachuted out of the bunker via an air shaft, and Sylvester outsmarts Dorie, saving the team.

Season 4, Episode 14: Lighthouse of the Rising Sun - A severe solar storm cripples Los Angeles, causing a blackout and cutting off all communication. Team Scorpion must locate and safely land a private plane carrying two teenagers lost over the Pacific. Meanwhile, Cabe attempts to confess his love to Allie, and Walter juggles babysitting Ralph's classmates. The episode concludes with the teenagers successfully parachuting into a net, and Cabe finally confessing his love for Allie, who reciprocates.

Season 4, Episode 15: Wave Goodbye - Team Scorpion races against time to prevent a tsunami from striking a nuclear power facility. Meanwhile, Toby secretly assists his ex-fiancée, Amy, in recovering her stolen identity, leading to a dangerous encounter where they are nearly buried alive. Season 4, Episode 16: Nerd, Wind & Fire - On Valentine's Day, Team Scorpion must rescue a doctor and pilot trapped in a helicopter atop a skyscraper amidst fierce Santa Ana winds. Toby discovers he has fertility issues, while Sylvester realizes he has feelings for Florence. The team successfully extracts the doctor and pilot just before the helicopter ignites.

Season 4, Episode 17: Dumbster Fire - Team Scorpion's mission in an underground Colorado lab goes awry when they stay too long, causing their IQs to plummet. Walter's attempt to fix a hydrogen tank nozzle results in a dangerous chain reaction, and the team must rely on Paige's simplified instructions to survive. Toby is rendered unconscious by an explosion, but Paige's quick thinking revives him, restoring his full IQ and allowing the team to escape.

Season 4, Episode 18: Dork Day Afternoon - While attempting to transport Toby's sperm to a fertility clinic for Happy, Walter and Toby are caught in a bank robbery. The team devises a plan to detonate dye packs to incapacitate the robbers and allow Toby to retrieve his sample. Walter's impulsive decision to stop at the bank jeopardizes the mission, but the team ultimately succeeds in getting the sperm to the clinic, allowing Happy to proceed with the insemination.

Season 4, Episode 19: Gator Done - Team Scorpion ventures into the bayou to retrieve a virus-carrying alligator, leading to Paige falling into the water and Toby needing to save Cabe's life after Walter tranquilizes him.
