Catherine Dent

Catherine Dent is an American actress, best known for her role as Officer Danielle "Danny" Sofer in the FX crime drama series The Shield (2002–2008). She also appeared in the miniseries Taken and as General Hale in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Dent received a Golden Palm Award and Jury Prize for Best Short Film in 2015 for her directorial work on "Silk".
