Michael Potts is an American actor known for his versatile performances on stage and screen. He is widely recognized for his roles as Brother Mouzone in HBO's The Wire, Mafala Hatimbi in the musical The Book of Mormon, and Slow Drag in the film Ma Rainey's Black Bottom. Potts received an Obie Award in 1994 for his work in "The America Play".
