Ron Glass

Ron Glass was an American actor, best known for his roles as the witty Det. Ron Harris in the television sitcom "Barney Miller" and as the spiritual Shepherd Book in the science fiction series "Firefly" and its sequel film "Serenity". He received a nomination for a supporting actor Emmy Award for his work on "Barney Miller".
