A comedy series about Paula Russell, a young woman who is thrust into a hasty new marriage and a new career, as producer of a daytime TV drama, both on the same day. To make matters worse, she meets her husband's snarly teenaged daughter who doesn't try to hide her bitter feelings about the marriage.
